As a Chef de Rang you will report to the Operations Manager and will be given responsibility for small teams to assist in the delivery of daily events. This may be the responsibility for a small event or a selection of small meetings or to supervise an element of a busy lunch service.

During dinner service your role is to lead a team of up to 12 staff to deliver plated meals to a section of tables and to ensure that every guests receives the required meal including managing the delivery of special dietary options. Prior to service you will brief your team to ensure everyone is clear in their duties and check your area.

You will need to be organised, be able to prioritise your work and be able to think on your feet as changes often happen with short notice. Depending on your capability and level of progression we will involve you in meeting and greeting clients and aim to provide you with skills and experience to enable you to be confidently responsible for the delivery of events for up to 150 people and will be supported if your ambition is to progress to Supervisor, Floor Manager and beyond.

The role requires a good eye for detail to ensure that the highest standards of service are delivered as part of the customer's seamless journey through the Resort. Having a background in leading a team in a hospitality environment you will have a passion for the industry and want to deliver our customers a memorable experience. Ideally you will have experience in a 4* or 5* hotel or will have worked in an environment that has catered for volume banqueting.

Overview
The Convention Centre has 20 meeting rooms ranging from those that can seat 2 to those that take a maximum of 200 delegates, in addition we have the Caernarfon Suite, a fully flexible conference room which can accommodate up to 1500 for a meeting and 1000 for a dinner. We also have an Exhibition Hall, 1200 square metres of space which is an ideal venue for trade fairs but has also hosted beach parties, nightclubs, conferences in circus tents, gala dinners and of course purpose built exhibitions. In addition to this we have 3 meeting rooms at the Lodge Clubhouse and 2 rooms in the old Manor House the largest of which holds 280 for a dinner, which are popular for weddings and special occasion events.
Following in the footsteps of the Ryder Cup we are now also branching out into Special Events and there are some great opportunities to be involved in delivering 'outdoor' events such as Polo at the Manor taking place for the second year in July this year when we will be providing hospitality for close to 1000 guests on the practice ground of the 2010 course.

During dinner service your role is to lead a team of up to 12 staff to deliver plated meals to a section of tables and to ensure that every guests receives the required meal including managing the delivery of special dietary options. Prior to service you will brief your team to ensure everyone is clear in their duties and check your area.

You will need to be organised, be able to prioritise your work and be able to think on your feet as changes often happen with short notice. Depending on your capability and level of progression we will involve you in meeting and greeting clients and aim to provide you with skills and experience to enable you to be confidently responsible for the delivery of events for up to 150 people and will be supported if your ambition is to progress to Supervisor, Floor Manager and beyond.

The role requires a good eye for detail to ensure that the highest standards of service are delivered as part of the customer's seamless journey through the Resort. Overview
The Convention Centre has 20 meeting rooms ranging from those that can seat 2 to those that take a maximum of 200 delegates, in addition we have the Caernarfon Suite, a fully flexible conference room which can accommodate up to 1500 for a meeting and 1000 for a dinner. We also have an Exhibition Hall, 1200 square metres of space which is an ideal venue for trade fairs but has also hosted beach parties, nightclubs, conferences in circus tents, gala dinners and of course purpose built exhibitions. In addition to this we have 3 meeting rooms at the Lodge Clubhouse and 2 rooms in the old Manor House the largest of which holds 280 for a dinner, which are popular for weddings and special occasion events.
Following in the footsteps of the Ryder Cup we are now also branching out into Special Events and there are some great opportunities to be involved in delivering 'outdoor' events such as Polo at the Manor taking place for the second year in July this year when we will be providing hospitality for close to 1000 guests on the practice ground of the 2010 course.
